Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support Technical Publication Specialist with multiple technical documentation projects concurrently.

· Develop clear and concise service technical bulletins containing repair instructions, flowcharts, illustrations, photo images, parts and special service tool information, to aid with service and repair.

· Produce technical publications that can reach across various product lines and automotive technologies.

· Collaborate with local team members to maintain the technical accuracy of all materials to be included in the publication.

· Organize content into a logical flow and tailor language to support the target audience.

· Participate in meetings and reviews to share information and experience with peers, and to provide input for policies and standards.

· Keep technical documentation and related information stored in multiple databases for record-keeping and future use.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

Overall Related Experience:

· Technical Writing or Instruction Design experience required.

Directly Related Experience:

· 1-3 years in a technical writing/publication role.

· Familiarity with automotive terminology.

3. SKILLS

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Visio/Outlook/Excel).

· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Edit Digital Media) or similar.

· Proficiency in video editing preferred, but not required.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
